Laser Hair Removal

The number of treatments is generally determined by the amount of hair, phase of hair growth, area of the body, skin colour, hair colour and coarseness. When being treated with the Elite Aesthetic Laser, you may experience a slight prickly or lightly stinging sensation. Remember that everyone is different and what one person considers bothersome another may not mind at all. It all depends on individual sensitivity or tolerance to the stimulation. Most people tolerate the treatment just fine.  It is very important that there are no products on your skin when you arrive for your treatment.  

After the treatment, redness and some slight swelling may occur, typically lasting anywhere from 12 hours to 48 hours.  Hyperpigmentation (darkening of the skin) and hypopigmentation (lightening of the skin) are possible risks and complications of the procedure.  Sun exposure and not adhering to the post-care instructions provided at the time of consultation may increase the chance of complications.
